Summary:

A Mid Valley Agricultural Services Dispatcher is responsible for the accurate, expedient, and efficient transport of agricultural products including, but not limited too; Chemicals, fertilizers, nutrients, application equipment, parts, and any other items pertaining to the agriculture industry. Skills needed to perform daily tasks include multi-tasking, polite and courteous customer service skills, positive attitude towards others, navigational awareness, time management, and technological knowledge. Accurate and proper record keeping, as well as good note taking.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Provide excellent service and support to customers, clients, employees, and others by way of telephone, email, verbal conversation, and written correspondence.
  • Responsible for scheduling all deliveries and pick up of materials and equipment.
  • Quickly and effectively delegate orders to specific personnel in order to accurately deliver orders.
  • Accurately track and communicate with delivery drivers in order to guide them to a certain location and safely deliver products to customers.

Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk, Oakdale, CA

Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk with excellent customer service skills. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer payments, statements, and promptly responding to customer inquiries regarding their accounts. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important for this role due to frequent interaction with customers, management, and colleagues. This position requires a high level of organizational skills and the ability to handle a high volume of transactions and customer calls in a timely manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable such as collections, reconciliations, deposits, and cash applications.
  • Work with customers, sales team, and managers to research and resolve Accounts Receivable discrepancies and/or collections issues.
  • Setup new customer accounts and maintain existing ones.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing customer receivables aging and initiating collections on past-due accounts.
  • Promptly handle high volume of incoming customer calls and emails.
  • Scan, file, archive, and maintain Accounts Receivable documentation such as customer receipts, invoices, subledger and general ledger reports and postings.
  • Open, sort, and distribute mail correspondence.

Position: HR Payroll Specialist, Oakdale, CA

Summary:

We are looking for a Payroll and Human Resources Assistant to join our team in the Oakdale, CA office. This role will be responsible for Payroll processing and will assist with Human resources tasks ranging from audits, documentation, compliance, research, and various other administrative tasks. Previous Payroll and Human Resources experience is required with more emphasis on payroll. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are important for this role. This position requires a high level of organizational skills, confidentiality, attention to detail, timely and accurate processing of payroll.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for semi-monthly payroll processing, timecard management and monthly commissions processing and reporting
  • Assist in implementing the day-to-day policies and procedures governing payroll
  • Create/Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality of all payroll, benefits, and employee information
  • Assist with paperwork, job postings, research, and other clerical tasks
  • Process unemployment claims

Position: Seasonal Field Scout, Linden and Livingston, CA

Summary:

Assist in providing support and data collection for Pest Control Advisors (PCA). Perform diversified field related activities assigned by PCA’s and Branch Managers. Helps PCA’s provide timely and excellent service and recommendations to growers.

Essential Functions:

  • Walking orchards, vineyards or row crops to identify and check for specific pests, weeds, insects and diseases.
  • Collect soil, tissue, leaf and water samples.
  • Routinely set and maintain traps and lures.
  • Create and read maps for blocks of land covered by the PCA.
  • Observe and collect field data and communicate all reports and findings to PCA’s and the Branch Manager.
  • Complete daily and weekly scouting reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate all findings and reporting’s to the PCAs to help develop seasonal fertilizer plans and pest control programs for a variety of crops.
  • Reporting accurate insect counts on a timely basis.
  • Ensuring a sufficient inventory for traps and lures materials.
  • The ability to construct traps, correctly adhere lures and guarantee proper installation.
  • Frequently check and replace adhesive portion of traps and ensure lure effectiveness.
  • Schedule and prioritize all activities, daily/weekly routes to ensure optimal quality and efficiency.
  • Research based activities to help identify and learn various diseases and insects.
  • Maintaining company supplied vehicle and routinely inspect the vehicle for any noticeable problems.
  • Uphold and comply with driving safety rules, as well as all safety policies of the company.
  • Help maintain relationships and communication with growers and Mid Valley.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all HazMat and DOT rules for shipping

Special Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing required

  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
  • Class A or Class C (Clean DMV Record)
    • For Class A, HazMat and Tanker endorsements preferred (able to obtain)
    • For Class C, able and willing to obtain Class A (company will help)
