Assistant Purchasing Agent, Oakdale, CA. - Part Time

Position Description:

  • Procurement of all chemical and seed for 7 stores
  • Inventory evaluation including managing inventory levels and accessing needs
  • Review all receiving paperwork for accuracy and close purchase orders
  • Resolve problems including shipments, receiving’s and invoices
  • Maintain working relationship with vendors
  • Update and maintain vendor binders
  • Interact and answer inquiries from sales staff, management and dispatch
  • Assist Crop Protection Manager in special projects and running reports

Qualifications:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Work
  • Detail oriented and accurate

Internship, Oakdale and Linden, CA.

Position Description:

  • Collect Soil, tissue, and water samples of the blocks currently scouted by the PCA
  • Scouting blocks for weeds, disease, and insect pests
    • No experience necessary. Interns will be taught by the PCA what to look for in the field and report back accordingly
  • Daily or weekly scouting reports
    • Use of Microsoft Office and Google software is critical
  • Mapping of blocks currently managed
  • Strong communication skills with support staff, PCAs and of course, growers
    • Communication requires excellent written and verbal skills, including email, text and phone calls
  • Safety. All interns must comply with driving safety rules, as well as all safety rules of the company

Qualifications:

  • Desire and ability to work weekdays and some Saturdays. Students: Part time during Spring Semester (2-3 days per week) and 40+ hours during Summer

General Description:

  • Field Scouting

Dispatcher, Linden, CA.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to both external and internal customers
  • Create customer orders
  • Create Product Use Recommendations ï¿¿ using Agrian & CDMS
  • Assist in dispatching drivers
  • Assist with weight tag/bulk material process
  • Assist with inventory process
  • Assist with other administrative processes as necessary
  • Utilize technology to direct and track delivery drivers
  • Create and update delivery maps for employees and 3rd party delivery drivers
  • Communicate road closures, construction, etc. and advise delivery drivers on routes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess and maintain valid California Driverï¿¿s License
  • Clean driving record
  • Legally permitted to work in US
  • Desire and ability to work overtime, including Saturdays

Other Requirements:

  • Follow all HazMat and DOT rules for shipping

Special Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing required
